After a rigorous and eventful 72-hour Inception team retreat at Napa Valley, founders stepped into Demo Day ready to pitch and showcase their innovative startups. Hosted at Pebblebed as part of SF Tech Week, Inception Studio had its 19th Cohort’s Demo day last Monday, 6 October 2025. About Inception Studio  A strong partner with the Berkeley Summit House, Inception Studio is a non-profit accelerator that organizes intense weekend retreats for AI's most exceptional entrepreneurs and builders. Since launching in November 2022, they have had 17 cohorts that have yielded 40 companies that have raised over $152M from top investors.

Under Pebblebed’s warm ambient lighting and sleek industrial backdrop, the room buzzed with quiet anticipation as founders took the stage to pitch their startups. Event sponsors, investors, and curious attendees filled the space, eager to see the culmination of weeks of hard work. Akify is purpose-built to surface organizational context and drive more efficient, coordinated collaboration. With a mission to transform enterprise collaboration by providing immediate access to critical contextual information, enabling faster decision-making and better team alignment, Akify uses advanced AI and machine learning algorithms designed to understand organizational context and surface relevant information proactively. It is built by enterprise collaboration AI PhD experts from MIT, Columbia and Amazon, Soya Park and Lydia Chilton, with deep understanding of organizational dynamics and the challenges of modern workplace productivity.

Node Bio

Node Bio is a biotech-focused startup founded by Bryan Downie and Bruce Adams, which aims to help pharmaceutical companies make decisions on the drugs they will deliver to patients as a particular drug can be efficacious in treating more than one disease. The founders have had a background of inventing and building multiple cell and genomics platform technologies for early to mid-stage biopharma and biotech companies, which are used to query patient tissues to better understand disease and options for therapeutic development.

Founded by Mohammad Rasouli, AIx2 empowers alternative investment funds with advanced generative and predictive AI to generate higher alpha and ROI through boosted due diligence, direct opportunity discovery, and sharp market insights. It is a unified platform of three end-to-end workflows, including a fundraising, investment and deal exit workflow. 

ContextKey

ContextKey was founded by Jan Carbonell and Adam Hillel, which is a personal assistant in mobile phones that can take context from existing information available to help organize optimal plans.
